 fuel truck1

We are pleased to announce the addition of another vehicle to the USAR and Fire Department fleet. We have been working diligently to address what we considered to be a deficiency in our ability to assure we have access to fuel during catastrophic events.

Through great effort on the part of many personnel, today Florida Task Force II and the City of Miami Fire Rescue took delivery of our own fuel tanker truck.
This vehicle has the ability to deliver fuel to static sites as well as fuel vehicles directly by setting up a portable fueling station wherever needed.

Special thanks to the Division of Emergency Management(UASI), USAR Staff Officers (Lt. Zulueta and Lt. Walters), Deputy Chief of Administration and the Fire Chief for their support and execution of this project.

Some Spec's:
- Aluminum Tank, split 2500 / 500 gallons
- Hydraulic driven system for each
- 100gpm rated with 100ft. of 1 1/2 inch hose on electric rewind hose reels
- Cummins ISM 320V Engine (305 HP @ 2100 RPM)
